The third DVD in the series looking at one of the most common locomotive types to be found working across mainland Europe - the TRAXX locomotive, during the period 2007 to 2018.

This programme finishes the study of the class 185.1 delivered to DB Cargo (then Railion) looking at locomotive numbers from 185 150 through to 185 200. The film continues with the newer and redesigned class 182.2 series with a look at examples delivered to the Private Hire market as well as other country operators such as Switzerland through its SBB Cargo subsidiary. As well as seeing the hire-fleet of locos working through Germany we also witness examples working in Switzerland on cross-alpine freight services.

The DVD continues with a look at the new Traxx2 class 146.2 and 146.5 passenger locomotives in use with private operators and DB Regio. We see some of the ex-Connex 146.2s at work on freight duties now that they are no-longer used on passenger services.

The final part of our look at the Traxx2 design features the DB Cargo fleet from 185 201 through to 185 200. Most appear on mixed wagonload services at locations within Germany and Austria, including the Main and Rhine Valleys and the trunk route north to Bremen.
