NETHERLANDS - trains on the line between Hengelo and Almelo with Class 1700 electrics in their final period of traffic.

GERMANY - a look at freight and local passenger trains on the south and west portions of the Aussenring orbital line around Berlin. Classes 101, 145, 185, 186, 187, 189, 193, 203, 285, 442, ICE all appear.

ITALY - a look back to steam and preserved diesel operations north-west of Brescia in July 2018 along the shores of lake d’Iseo and onwards towards Edolo (filmed by Maurizio Tolini).

FRANCE - mainline action between Mulhouse and Strasbourg with BB25500, 26000, 37000, TGV and Units. We also include some scenes from 1993 by way of a look back at operations along the line over 25 years before.

SWITZERLAND - a visit to the Rhätische Bahn where witness locomotive action on the line south of Susch and on towards Bever. Class Re4/4 II dominate.

BELGIUM - we call in on a busy stretch of track to the north of ~Mons on the International route to Brussels. We see freight and passenger traffic with plenty of locomotives on a variety of workings. Included are Classes 13, 18, 19, 21, 27, 186, 62, 77 and BB67400 plus units from classes AM73CR, AM80 and AM96.
