GERMANY - the second part of our feature looking at the main line between Minden and Wunstorf. This busy cross-country route is full of traffic with up to 14 trains to be seen each hour. We witness freight, local and regional passenger as well as Intercity services. Classes 140, 145, 152, 185, 146, 386, 189, 445, 424, 425, 401, 402 and 101 all appear.

CZECHIA - the cross-border route between Breclav and Kuty close to the border with Slovakia is a busy freight and passenger line. We call in to view the action in 2019. Classes 190, 193, 186, 386, 350, 383, 363 and 380 are featured.


FRANCE - a visit is made to the Dijon to Paris line from two locations at Montbard and close to Laroche-Migennes. BB7200, BB26000, BB27000, BB36000, BB69400, TGV, B81500, ex-DB classes 211 & 212 feature on this rural route showing a variety of different train types.


ITALY - we call in at the cross-border station at Brennero to check out the action with a variety of modern motive power to be seen on passenger and freight.


SWITZERLAND - the second part in a feature looking at the BLS mountain route linking Goppenstein with Brig. This section looks at the route near Visp up to the station at Hohtenn. We feature a good variety of freight traffic from refrigerated container, to intermodal, car-empties, tank wagons, postal as well as trains of complete lorries. Car-shuttle trains powered by endangered class 425 electrics are also featured, all amongst the superb scenery of the Rhône Valley.
