This is one of the busiest freight and passenger trunk routes in the country with a never-ending procession of trains powered by a wide variety of locomotives. This programme takes a snap-shot of the types of trains to be seen in 2017, beginning with a look at the action on Fulda station before heading into the countryside to view the trains from a number of photographic vantage points, before finishing up at Bad Hersfeld.
