Spain: A visit to the busy junction town of Medina Del Campo, north of Madrid. Classes include: 251, 269, 333, 470 & 596 on a variety of passenger and freight workings on this busy route;

Portugal – a visit is made to the junction town of Ermesinde, just to the north of Porto. This mainline location features, suburban passenger, freight, rural and inter-city workings. Filmed in July 2007, class 1400 & 1960 diesels are seen at work as well as 1970s-built diesel multiple units, Class 5600 electrics & Class 3400 multiple units as well as a modern ‘Pendolino’ tilting high-speed train. A fascinating location for the railway enthusiast.
