France - Ostricourt: A busy junction to the south of Lille just a little over a 90 minute car journey from Calais. BB16500, BB22200, BB26000, BB36000 and X4500 DMUs all feature on a variety of workings.
Germany - Horka: A timeless railway location close to the border with Poland. PKP and DB traction are seen on a number of workings at this little known location deep in the former east of the country.
Lineside Passing Point: A Belgian class 62 diesel departs Eeklo.
Luxembourg - Noertzange: The station lies in the south of the country and is a hot-spot for train activity. Featured are; class 3600 electrics as well as ex-Norwegian ME-26 Dispolok locos on long-term hire.
Endangered species: The German class 202s. Now losing much of their passenger work we take a look at this popular class on current-day operations to the east of Dresden, as well as a look back at the class in action during 1994.
Switzerland - Brig: an evening trainwatching at this picturesque location. SBB and BLS locomotives and multiple units as well as an Italian Railways? Cisalpino all feature.
France - Chaumont: The diesel only main line from Paris to Basel is home to some of the most powerful diesels in France, the CC72000s. We witness this class and others in action at this delightful country town.
Germany - class 228 archive: Now all withdrawn from DB service we travel back to 1994 when the class were commonplace on the former DR network.
Austria - Semmering Pass: A look at the scenic main line crossing the Semmering Mountains. Class 1040, 1042, 1044, 1142 and 4010 are seen on passenger and freight activity, including banking turns and double-headers.
