SPAIN: Our Lineside Interlude feature looks briefly at trains on the Burgos to Miranda route amidst some superb scenery.
POLAND: Locomotive shortages in 2003 led to the use of ST44 ?Sergei? diesels, we see these and SU45 & SM42s in action. Plus, ET22 & EU07 electrics including some superb ?roaring?!
AUSTRIA: Neumarkt Kallham lies on the Germany to Austria line to Wels. We a variety of activity including DB ICE, 140, 151 & 182 as well as OBB 1016, 1042, 1044, 1142 electrics, 2143 & 5047 diesels.
SWITZERLAND: A fascinating 60 minutes is spent at Perroy next to Lake Geneva.
FRANCE: Freight and passenger trains are included in this look at action on the line between Valenciennes and Aulnoye. The endangered BB16500 electrics are featured as well as 16000, 26000, 27000 and 36000 types.
AUSTRIA/GySEV: The private Hungarian railway company operates a line into Austria, we view GySEV V43, 1047 and M44 locos in action as well as OBB 1014 and 1116 to the East of Ebenfurth.
