Liege: A host of BELGIAN traction on freight and passenger workings around this major railway hotspot. Included are a class 62 diesel on molten-iron freight, a class 51 on grain hoppers, a class 55 on passenger, class 13, 16, 21, 23 and 27 all operating passenger trains, Thalys TGV units, class 22 no: 2249 on banking duties, class 82 shunter on empty stock as well as a wide range of electric multiple units.
Lineside interlude: An Italian class 343 diesel-powered freight is seen near Padena.
One hour at Kreiensen: The results of 60 minutes on one of GERMANY?s busiest main lines just to the south of Hannover. Class 101, 110, 140, 151 and 152 electrics all feature as well as a V100 diesel and class 614 diesel units.
Endangered species - A look at hit-listed AUSTRIAN classes 1041, 1141, 1043 and 1046 electrics as well as class 2050 diesels at work around the country.
Channel hopper: Activity at Aulnoye in northern FRANCE as we witness a wide variety of electric locos including now withdrawn CC40100 and BB12000s. Others seen are Z23500 multiple units, BB16000, BB16500 and BB26000.
Lineside Interlude: A look at class 234 diesels at work in eastern GERMANY.
Waiting for a train: Activity beside a level-crossing at Blazovice close to Brno in the southern CZECH REPUBLIC. Class 230 and 363 electrics appear on passenger and freight as well as class 842 and 830 diesel multiple units.
The Schweizerische Südoostbahn: Situated in SWITZERLAND this busy mainly single-track line is featured between Samstagen and Biberbrugg. A wide variety of SOB traction is seen including Class 477 (ex-DR class 142), 566 and 576 electric units and SBB Re 4/4 and Bogensee Toggenburg class 456 Re 4/4 locomotives.
