FRANCE - the incredible sight of hundreds of locomotives stored out of traffic at Sotteville near Rouen.

BELGIUM - a study of trains and traction on the route north of Liège towards Tongeren & Genk. Plenty of freight & passenger action. Classes 186, 66, 21, 19, 13, Am96 & Am80 series are witnessed in the action.

AUSTRIA - the busiest mainline in the country is witnessed as we look at action east of Enns, Kirchstetten and west of St.Pölten. Classes 1016, 1116, 1216, 185, 182, 193, 411, 1144, 1142, 2070, 4010, 4020, 5047 and 187 all make an appearance on a wide variety of workings.

ITALY - a look at the branch line north-west of Brescia and on towards Iseo and the shores of Lake Sebeeno. Operated by Trenord we see a variety of diesel railcars and trainsets in action from class 668 to ATR115 and ATR125 - highlight is the appearance of steam in the shape of 0-4-0T no: 200 05 on a test run to Sale Marasino.
