ITALY - a two-part feature looking at aerial footage of trains in action on various lines in the north of the country before heading to Verona to look at workings through the town’s station. Classes 2145, 753, 189, 191, 652, 464, 1216 and Pendolino trainsets all appear.
SWITZERLAND - standard and narrow-gauge railways at Aigle, in the south-west of the country. Class Re4/4, 460, 503 and 923 are witnessed on the mainline whilst the adjacent TPC network includes new and old passenger units: highlight of which is railcar no:1 - dating from 1913 - operating around the station.
LUXEMBOURG - a fascinating look at the rural line north of Luxembourg, through Ettelbruck to Troisvierges. Various passenger trains types are seen at work including classes 2000, 2200, 2300 and loco types, 3000 and 4000.
BELGIUM - a look at commuter and local trains north-west of Charleroi, including class 186, AM-08, AM78, 27 and 18.
NETHERLANDS - class 189s at work on the Betuwe freight route.
FRANCE - mainline action to the west of Narbonne at a photographic hot-spot. Loco-hauled working dominate on passenger and freight. With Classes 7200, 22200, 26000, 37500, 211, TGV, z7300 and z27500.
POLAND - freight and passenger action from the junction town of Inowroclaw. With M62, ET22, EP07, EP09, ET41, E6ACT and 186.
